Tama-Zone Forum Rules

Tama-Zone is a community for Tamagotchi fans, collectors, researchers, and virtual pet enthusiasts. Whether you're returning from years ago or discovering the community for the first time, we're glad you're here.
Our rules are simple: be respectful, protect people's privacy and work, and don't put the community or site at risk.
1. Be Respectful
Treat other members with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, discriminatory attacks, personal attacks, stalking, or deliberately provoking others are not allowed.
Disagreement and debate are fine. Attacking the person instead of the topic is not.
2. Keep It Appropriate
Tama-Zone is intended for members 13 years of age or older.
We do not require conversations to be completely family-friendly, and occasional profanity or mature discussion is fine. However, pornographic or sexually explicit material is not permitted, and content that is excessively graphic, exploitative, or clearly inappropriate for the community may be removed.
Anyone under 13 may not register for or use a Tama-Zone account.
3. Respect Privacy
Do not post another person's private or identifying information without permission, including addresses, phone numbers, private messages, personal email addresses, precise locations, financial information, passwords, or private photographs.
Be especially careful with information involving minors.
4. No Spam, Scams, or Abuse
Do not spam, scam, impersonate others, evade bans, send phishing links, upload malicious content, or use Tama-Zone primarily for unrelated advertising.
Relevant Tamagotchi projects, fan sites, collection pages, and other community resources are welcome when they genuinely contribute to the discussion.
5. Respect Creators
Do not claim another person's artwork, photographs, guides, research, translations, or other work as your own.
Credit creators when reasonably possible, and do not use Tama-Zone to distribute pirated commercial software, ROMs, books, magazines, music, or other copyrighted material without permission.
6. Post Responsibly
Please use appropriate forums, descriptive topic titles, and avoid duplicate posts or deliberately derailing discussions.
If something is posted in the wrong place by mistake, don't worry — moderators can move it.
We do not have a buy/sell/trade area, so we take no responsibility for any transactions or trades that may happen in PMs or otherwise.
7. Don't Attack the Site
Do not attempt to hack, exploit, overload, disrupt, scrape excessively, bypass security, or gain unauthorized access to Tama-Zone, its server, database, or member accounts.
Report security problems privately to an administrator rather than exploiting them.
Activity that threatens the forum or its hosting environment may result in immediate removal or blocking.
8. Follow Moderator Instructions
Moderators are here to keep the community organized and enjoyable.
If a moderator asks you to stop doing something, please stop. If you disagree with a moderation decision, contact the staff privately rather than derailing another discussion.
Not every possible situation can be listed in a rules page. Administrators may take action when conduct is clearly harmful to members, the community, or the operation of Tama-Zone.
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or removal without a prior warning.
9. Politics and Religion
Tama-Zone is a community centered on Tamagotchi and virtual pets, and we ask members to keep partisan political discussion, campaigning, religious debate, and attempts to persuade others toward particular political or religious beliefs off the forum.
Please do not use Tama-Zone to promote or argue for political candidates, parties, campaigns, electoral causes, religions, or religious movements.
Discussion of laws, policies, current events, holidays, traditions, or cultural topics is fine when it is directly relevant to the discussion and is not being used to start a political or religious argument.
The goal of this rule is not to police anyone's personal beliefs, but to keep Tama-Zone focused on the community and avoid political or religious debates becoming a source of conflict.

If you see a problem, please use the forum's Report function rather than escalating the situation yourself.
Most importantly: share what you know, ask questions, help other members, show off your collection, and help preserve Tamagotchi history.
That's what Tama-Zone is here for.
